Oneness

and

Oneness Deeksha

(1) Andrew Newberg, professor of nuclear medicine at the University of Pennsylvania, is the author of the acclaimed book ‘Why God Won’t Go Away’. Newberg studied eight Tibetan Buddhist practitioners during meditation using SPECT scan.

Neuroscientist Richard Davidson at University of Wisconsin collaborated with Tibet’s Dalai Lama who sent eight of his most accomplished meditators to Davidson’s laboratory for a scientific study. Using EEG and fMRI scans, Davidson studied the monks during deep meditation and found very high activity in the prefrontal cortex. He found very high levels of Gamma activity in the frontal area.

Hoffman et al. from New Brain-New World also found similar results in their research with Deeksha: They state that High Gamma levels, especially in the left prefrontal area of the brain seems to be the trade mark of enlightenment.

The common result of the research done by these scientists is that the process of awakening / enlightenment is primarily due to a change in neurobiological functioning in the brain with a shift in brain’s command center from the parietal to the prefrontal area. As a result, the individual wakes up to a higher level of consciousness and to a new reality.

Furthermore, Hoffman et al. state that the Deeksha activates the frontal area in the receiving person and they hypothesize that the Deeksha initiates Kundalini Awakening and prepares for a shift in the brain’s command center.

They found an increase of Alpha/Theta in the left frontal area in the brain of many subjects after receiving Deeksha. The left prefrontal area is, according to Richard Davidson, the center of positive feelings such as joy, happiness and compassion. This explains why many people experience causeless joy and love at the end of a Deeksha session.

(2) Sri Bhagavan, the founder of Oneness University, states that there is only One Mind and we are only part of this One Mind.

Princeton Engineering Anomalies Research lab conducted experiments with REG (Random Event Generator) machine to test evidences of collective consciousness.

During the moments when a large number of people in the world are tuned in and focus on the same event/thought/ emotion, the REG machine is affected. The machine as it has been running for several years now around the world has determined the moments such as September 11 attack, Princess Diana’s death and her funeral, John F Kennedy JR.‘s death, near impeachment of Bill Clinton, the Paris crash of Concorde, bombing of Yugoslavia, flooding and volcanic eruptions, New Year Eve celebration in year 2000. The machine also detected the peak times at Academy Awards in March 1995 and then in 1996, O.J. Simpson trial, Summer Olympics of July 1996.

(Lynne McTaggart, The Field- The Quest for the Secret Force of the Universe, 208-213)

As if the humanity as a whole was tuning in as the One Mind.

(3) Sheldrake's theory the morphogenetic field can be used to describe how the human consciousness is shared. The morphogenetic field plays the main role in the idea that humanity at one point in time will go thru a dramatic collective shift in consciousness. A shift that will happen when the critical mass for a shift is reached, or in other words, when a certain number of spiritually awakened individuals are reached.

(4) Hal Puthoff’s research on ESP shows that when the remote viewers were connected to the ZPF (Zero Point Field) during the remote viewing session, at the end of the session their senses were amplified ecstatically as if in normal level consciousness our senses are blocked or filtering what is really out there….

(Schnabel, ‘Remote Viewers’, 74-75)

This is also stated by Sri AmmaBhagavan; that Deeksha brings enlightenment and higher states of consciousness and freedom from the senses. It is stated that our senses are blocked and filtering information.
